Kempner to Lead Communications for MDC

Marketing communications holding company MDC Partners has named Katie Kempner senior vice president, corporate communications. In her new role, Kempner will oversee communications strategies for MDC, and provide strategic communications counsel to all MDC Partners agencies.

NEW YORK—Marketing communications holding company MDC Partners has named Katie Kempner senior vice president, corporate communications. In her new role, Kempner will oversee all communications strategies for MDC Partners, and provide strategic communications counsel to all MDC Partners agencies.

 

Since 1996, Kempner has served as vice president, director of agency communications for MDC Partners subsidiary Crispin Porter + Bogusky, which has been featured on the covers of Fast Company and Businessweek, as well as on a numerous television and radio programs. In her role at CP+B, she also served as an ongoing media consultant to many of CP+B's clients, working with the marketing and business press.

 

In January of 2004 while continuing to run the CP+B PR department, Kempner joined MDC as VP and director of corporate communications. In her newly expanded role, she will oversee brand management at the network level as well as ensuring that all member agencies are maximizing their media opportunities. She will also develop a network wide social media presence.
