Ketchum Adds More Heinz Brands

The Pittsburgh office of Ketchum, which recently handled the introduction of StarKist Tuna in a Pouch for H.J. Heinz, has been named agency of record for three of the company’s units: Heinz Pet Snacks, StarKist Seafood and Heinz Frozen Foods

PITTSBURGH, April 10—The Pittsburgh office of Ketchum, which recently handled the introduction of StarKist Tuna in a Pouch for H.J. Heinz, has been named agency of record for three of the company’s units: Heinz Pet Snacks, StarKist Seafood and Heinz Frozen Foods, which includes Bagel Bites, Boston Market, Smart Ones and Ore-Ida.

Ketchum will work on national public relations campaigns for three pet snack introductions this spring, including a new Pounce cat snack set to debut in April, new treats in the Pup-Peroni and Meaty Bone brands in July. 

“We know Ketchum will give Heinz Pet Snacks the same high-energy creativity and ingenuity that has jump-started sales for other recent Heinz new product introductions,” says Todd Lachman, managing director of Heinz Pet Snacks.

Ketchum has also been working to promote Bagel Bites to boys aged 9 to 14 years old, handling the brand’s sponsorship of the ESPN X Games.
