Ketchum Entertainment Maven Malinowski Gets Broader Role

Mark Malinowski, senior vice president and director of Ketchum Entertainment Marketing, is taking on a new role as director of entertainment marketing for parent company Ketchum and creative director for KEM.

NEW YORK—Mark Malinowski, senior vice president and director of Ketchum Entertainment Marketing, is taking on a new role as director of entertainment marketing for parent company Ketchum and creative director for KEM. In his new role, he will oversee and direct entertainment marketing for the entire Ketchum network, while maintaining creative direction for KEM and its clients. 

Tom Freydl, formerly based in Los Angeles as vice president of KEM, will take over as director of KEM and will relocate to New York.

Ketchum launched KEM in 2000, and the firm has product placement work for Estée Lauder, Wendy’s, Cingular, ABSOLUT, and Levi’s; entertainment PR for Estée Lauder Oscar Spa and Levi’s celebrity parties; entertainment promotional tie-ins for Gillette and the WB’s Dawson’s Creek, Fox’s Malcolm in the Middle and Frito-Lay; and celebrity endorsement deals for Dana Carvey and  Kevin Bacon for Cingular, Drew Carey and Frankie Muniz for Frito-Lay, and Brittany Murphy, Adrien Brody and Evan Marriott for Levi’s.
