NEW YORK—Ketchum  has expanded it executive committee to 11, adding five new members. The group focuses on governing the agency—identifying and diagnosing challenges and opportunities and prescribing actions in accordance with the firm’s values. It also oversees client satisfaction and talent issues.

New members of the Executive Committee include: Dale Bornstein, partner/director New York; David Catlett, partner/director global healthcare; Jon Higgins, partner/chief executive officer London; Mike Kaczmarski, partner/chief financial officer; Barri Rafferty, partner/director Atlanta.

The firm also added six new partners, increasing the partnership ranks to 20. New partners are Doug Kinzley; Liz McLean; Paul Rand; Mindy Rubinstein; Kim Sample; and Sabine Stadel-Strauch.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Rose Marshall, most recently head of her own litigation public relations firm, has joined Ketchum’s Washington-based litigation communications practice as a senior counselor.  

Marshall ran her own firm, Legal PR, from 1992 through June 2002, representing such clients as the American Tort Reform Association, Monsanto, the National Judicial College, the American Trucking Associations and the Product Liability Advisory Council. She is also the author of “No Comment and Other Admissions of Guilt,” a monograph published by the National Legal Center for the Public Interest.

Marshall will work alongside Karen Doyne, Ketchum senior vice president and director of litigation communications.
