Ketchum Picks Up DuPont Apparel & Textiles Account

etchum has been named global public relations agency for DuPont’s apparel and textile sciences group, including Lycra, Coolmax and Cordura

NEW YORK, October 12—Ketchum has been named global public relations agency for DuPont’s apparel and textile sciences group. Led by a New York team, Ketchum will support a wide array of public relations activities, developing strategic initiatives for each of the group’s core brands, including Lycra, Coolmax and Cordura, and communicating the benefits of DuPont ATS to external and internal audiences throughout the value chain.
 
As part of its role, Ketchum will coordinate efforts with DuPont’s agencies around the world for the DuPont ATS business.
 
The account, believed to be worth in the low seven figures, was previously serviced by a handful of agencies, including Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, Rowland Worldwide, and several boutique firms.
