HONG KONG--Newgate Communications has added two new affiliates and won Kroll's Greater China PR account.

The affiliate agreements are with Taiwan public affairs firm Jet-Go consulting, and Macau's CRGI. Meanwhile, Newgate has also been awarded the Greater China PR brief for security and risk management player Kroll Advisory Solutions.

A subsidiary of the UK's Porta Communications, Newgate established its first Asian office in Hong Kong in January, under the leadership of former Kreab Gavin Anderson Asia (KGA) head Richard Barton. The Kroll account was previously held by KGA.

“These affiliations, with firms and individuals that we have worked alongside on many occasions over the years, represent a further important step in the development of our regional network, and the geographic coverage we are able to provide to both local and global clients of the firm,” said Barton.
