NEW YORK—Kwittken & Company has been named agency of record for Thomson Learning, a division of the Thomson Corporation and a leading provider of tailored learning solutions. The company serves secondary, post-secondary and graduate-level students, teachers, and learning institutions in both traditional and distance learning environments and offers adult education and certification materials for corporations, training centers and individuals.

Thomson Learning has selected KCO to generate awareness for the division’s education and corporate training business units through a strategic trade and national media relations program. Aaron Kwittken, founder and CEO of KCO, has had a working relationship with Thomson Learning that dates back to the late 90s.

“As an organization comprised of businesses spanning many different areas of the education marketplace, we need a communications partner that truly and technically understands who we are and how we work,” says Adam Gaber, vice president corporate communications and public affairs. “KCO’s resident knowledge of our business and our company, and proven track record of editorial media success, combined with top notch issues and crisis counsel, makes it the perfect partner in this ever changing marketplace.”
