L.A. Mayor's Aide Joins MWW

Peter Brown has joined MWW Group as a vice president in the Los Angeles office. Brown will play a key role in the office’s public affairs, policy analysis and media relations work as well as recruiting new clients to the firm.

LOS ANGELES—Peter Brown has joined MWW Group as a vice president in the Los Angeles office.  Brown will play a key role in the office’s public affairs, policy analysis and media relations work as well as recruiting new clients to the firm. 

Prior to joining MWW Group, Brown served as director of scheduling to Mayor Villaraigosa and played a role in the shaping of Villaraigosa as “the hardest working Mayor in America.” Brown has also worked for a member of the Los Angeles City Council as well as serving in President Bill Clinton’s administration in the Office of Management & Budget in Washington, D.C. 

In the private sector, he was director of governmental affairs for Dakota Communications, a boutique public affairs firm, where his client work included Playa Vista, Los Angeles World Airports, Fox Entertainment Group, the Motion Picture & Television Fund and First AME Church.
