SINGAPORE—Levi Strauss Asia Pacific Division has appointed Celina Low as corporate affairs director. In her new role, Low oversees communications, community affairs and government affairs, supporting the business in Asia Pacific and Africa. Her communications purview covers both corporate and brand public relations, and internal communications; her community affairs portfolio encompasses Levi Strauss & Co.'s grant-making and employee volunteerism initiatives.
She also supports LS&CO.'s worldwide government affairs and public policy function in promoting business success and social responsibility in areas including international trade and labor, corporate citizenship and human rights, and intellectual property rights.
She reports to the president of the LS&CO.'s Asia Pacific division who is based in Singapore, and to the vice president for global corporate affairs in the company's headquarters in San Francisco.
Low joins Levi Strauss Asia Pacific from The Ascott Group, one of the world's largest hospitality operators in the serviced apartment and corporate leasing business. There, she served as the vice president for corporate communications, brand & marketing. Prior to that, she worked in other industries including tourism, aerospace and engineering.
