Lewis Hires Pelowne to Launch New Consumer Practice

Global technology public relations agency Lewis PR is to create a new consumer-focused division, which will represent high-profile brands around the world, with an initial focus on premium travel brands.

LONDON—Global technology public relations agency Lewis PR is to create a new consumer-focused division, which will represent high-profile brands around the world, with an initial focus on premium travel brands. The new practice will be run by Julia Perowne, currently international client director for Massey Partnership, a travel and hotel PR specialist based in London.

 

Perowne has worked in the travel and hotel PR sector for six years, representing leading international brands, individual hotels and tour operators, including COMO Hotels and Resorts, Black Tomato, Hotel du Vin, Malmaison and Nantucket Island Resorts.

 

The new practice, which will draw on the firm’s social media expertise, will utilize Perowne 's global travel knowledge and the expertise of recently-appointed chief operating officer Paul Charles, who joins in January after completing his current role as director of communications at Virgin Atlantic.

Lewis already has a number of consumer clients, including Pret a Manger.
