LONDON—Lewis PR has launched Lewis Live, a platform for publishing social media news releases and creating entire custom newsrooms. With Lewis Live, the firm’s clients can create and publish social media releases for free, making online engagement and optimization a central part of any PR campaign. The new service helps companies increase their online visibility, and better serve the needs of reporters, bloggers, analysts and others looking to find out more about their organization.

All Lewis clients will receive a complimentary Lewis Live news desk, a dedicated portal for SMRs, providing an easy and simple method for clients to ensure social media is an integrated part of corporate communications. A newsroom facility is also available, featuring all the elements of a traditional online press room as well as social channels such as a company blog, Twitter feed, YouTube channel, Facebook page and Flickr feed and multiple search and social features to make it more findable, more shareable and more interactive.

“Any marketer or communicator now understands the importance of optimizing their company’s online profile, but building and maintaining a social media news release or newsroom from scratch can be quite an undertaking,” says Lucy Allen, senior VP of account servicing at Lewis. “Lewis Live makes it easy, incorporating all the latest SM channels and social features to make it more findable on search engines, as well as a more interactive news resource. It provides clients with a guaranteed way of keeping pace with the changing social media environment, without having the technical or SM expertise in-house. This will allow them to embrace all elements of social media, with minimum effort.”
