Lewis Opens Portugal Office

Technology public relations specialist Lewis PR, which says it plans to expand to 42 offices around the world by the end of 2009, has added Portugal to its global network and named Fernando Batista to head up the Lisbon office.

LISBON—Technology public relations specialist Lewis PR, which says it plans to expand to 42 offices around the world by the end of 2009, has added Portugal to its global network and named Fernando Batista to head up the Lisbon office. With nearly 10 years experience in the IT sector, Batista joins Lewis from Sybase, a leading enterprise software and services company. His previous experience also includes roles as a marketing and PR consultant, both agency-side and in-house.

The launch of the Lisbon office gives Lewis a total of 21 offices in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, all grown organically. The firm now has three offices in the Iberian market, with its existing operations in Madrid and Barcelona.

 

Existing clients in the area include Mozilla, NTT Europe Online, Aastra, Dialcom, Experian and NorthgateArinso.
