LONDON—Following record growth in the Nordics, technology public relations specialist Lewis PR plans to open two new offices in Norway and Finland. The global PR agency is currently recruiting to double its workforce in the region as part of its Nordics expansion plans, following 70 percent revenue growth across the agency’s existing Nordics network over the last year, including work for Avanade, Centennial Software, Radware, SoftScan, and UGS.

The Nordics now contribute almost 10 percent of the firm’s continental-European business. The firm currently has offices in Sweden and Denmark.

“The last 12 months have shown that there is huge potential for us in this region,” says Nils Holmlöv, general manager Nordics at Lewis. “We continue to look for new staff in Denmark and Sweden and at the same time will expand our presence into other markets. Client requirements are changing and having the capabilities to run global campaigns out of the Nordics has proved a huge selling point for the agency.”

The firm’s expansion plans will begin in Oslo, which will be operational by December. Helsinki will follow in the early part of 2007, with the Stockholm office becoming a coordination and administration hub.
