BOSTON—Lewis PR has been appointed by Progress Software Corporation, a provider of application infrastructure software, as its agency of record. Lewis won the campaign following a six-way pitch that included incumbent agency Schwartz Communications. The campaign will be spearheaded by Lewis vice president Claire Rowberry, who will report to Progress Software’s director of corporate communications, John Stewart.

“Lewis demonstrated an excellent awareness of both our market and also the media trends affecting us,” says Stewart, director of corporate communications at Progress Software. “We saw a number of agencies and Lewis’ creativity and understanding of our sector really stood out, coupled with its energy and enthusiasm. With the speed that the IT market moves, we need an agency that can hit the ground running and stay ahead of the game – LEWIS’ track record shows that it is able to do this time after time.”
