WASHINGTON, D.C.—Brunswick Group, the international communications consultancy firm, has named Naomi Munson as senior associate partner. Munson joins the firm’s Washington office with more than 25 years of experience in journalism, public relations, litigation communications and public affairs.
Most recently a senior vice president at Powell Tate, formerly litigation specialist Bork & Associates, Munson provided strategic communications advice to CEOs and general counsels on a broad range of issues including toxic torts, product liability, patents, class action, regulatory disputes, Medicaid fraud, stock fraud, telecommunications, antitrust, tort reform and education reform.
Before joining Powell Tate, Munson worked as an award-winning editorialist at the Washington Times and assistant editor at Newsweek Magazine.
In addition, Munson drew on her political expertise and relationships with senior officials throughout the Bush Administration in advising clients on navigating the current political environment.
“Naomi is a highly-skilled communications strategist whose insights and knowledge of media, Washington’s political landscape, business and litigation will be invaluable to our clients,” said David Shapiro, managing partner of Brunswick’s Washington office.
