Lloyd Rejoins Sitrick

Paul Holmes

LOS ANGELES, March 8—Jeffrey Lloyd has rejoined Sitrick & Company after serving for a year as executive vice president for communications at StockJungle.com. Other new additions to the Los Angeles –based crisis management specialist are Tammy Taylor, an award-winning reporter and news anchor for KCOP-TV, Los Angeles; and Roger Gillott, a former Associated Press reporter and PR director for Occidental Petroleum.

Agency president Michael Sitrick declined to comment on rumors that the firm has engaged the services of investment bankers at Wasserstein Perella to field offers for his firm, which is among the largest in California.
As a competitor to east coast mergers and acquisitions specialists such as Kekst & Company, Abernathy MacGregor (recently sold to Havas) and Sard Verbinnen (now part of Citigate), Sitrick has had several offers. It is believed that Citigate held extensive talks with the west coast firm before acquiring Sard. But Sitrick says he has no immediate plans to sell.
