Lockheed Martin Names Rand to Lead Communications

Lockheed Martin has named Ronald Rand as the corporation's senior vice president, communications. Rand succeeds Dennis Boxx who retired earlier this month.

BETHESDA, MDLockheed Martin has named Ronald Rand as the corporation's senior vice president, communications. Rand succeeds Dennis Boxx who retired earlier this month.

 

Rand currently serves as Pratt & Whitney's vice president, communications, and leads the company's worldwide internal and external communications, including public relations; employee communications; advertising and branding; public affairs; and communications in support of sales and marketing.

 

Rand is a retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General, who served as the service's director of public affairs in Washington, D.C., and directed all internal and external communications and served as the Air Force's chief spokesperson. During his 32-year career in the Air Force, he also led communications at bases around the world.
