LONDON—Aerospace giant Lockheed Martin UK has appointed Man Bites Dog to handle a UK integrated communications brief, following a four-way competitive pitch process.

Lockheed Martin UK employs more than 3000 people across 20 UK sites, from Aberdeen to Yeovil, working on a programs spanning the aerospace, defence and civil sectors.

Man Bites Dog will be working with the Lockheed Martin communications team to raise the profile of the business as it embarks on its next stage of growth. The consultancy work will focus on promoting Lockheed Martin’s reputation as a technology leader, a good employer and a good corporate citizen. Particular focus will be given to highlighting its contributions to the UK national economy, its move into markets such as IT systems to support transport, oil & gas and government organisations and its partnerships with research institutions and academia.
