NEW YORK—The Caribbean Tourism Development Company has appointed Lou Hammond & Associates to be its public relations agency of record following a competitive review. CTDC is a joint marketing and business development unit, owned equally by the Caribbean Hotel Association and the Caribbean Tourism Organization, representing 32 countries and their hospitality partners. Its mission is to own, promote, protect, advance and enhance the Caribbean brand.

“We were privileged to have been approached by many fine agencies keen on representing the interests of our region. In the end our selection committee chose the agency with the best overall combination of skills and experience,” says Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace of the CTO and joint chief executive of the Caribbean Tourism Development Company.
