WALTHAM, MA—W2 Group, the technology-driven marketing services company launched by Weber Group founder Larry Weber, has hired Jackie Lustig as senior vice president. Lustig, formerly senior vice president of marketing and business development at Weber Shandwick, reunited with Weber to focus on business development, agency marketing, knowledge management and other strategic initiatives to grow and strengthen W2 Group’s businesses.

“The advent of social computing is creating tremendous growth opportunities for the W2 Group companies,” says Lustig, senior vice president at W2 Group.  “I am excited about utilizing my experience to help W2 Group effectively exploit the opportunities and redefine the way marketers communicate with their key constituencies.”

At Weber Shandwick, Lustig oversaw the firm’s advertising, intranets and extranets, collateral development, direct marketing, media relations and awards marketing programs.  She also led the development of a comprehensive training curriculum including more than 70 courses designed to improve the effectiveness of marketing professionals.

Prior to Weber Shandwick, Lustig was deeply involved in the marketing of emerging technology firms at both The Weber Group and at Neva Group, a technology public relations firm founded and led by Marijean Lauzier, now CEO of W2’s Racepoint Group public relations subsidiary.
