LONDON—Corporate communications consultancy Luther Pendragon has acquired public affairs specialist Quintus Communications to form one of the U.K.’s largest independent public relations consultancies. Eighteen staff from Quintus have joined Luther Pendragon’s existing 41 staff based in London’s Ludgate Hill.
The merged company will continue to offer a fully integrated communications service to clients including media relations, public affairs, stakeholder relations, issues and crisis management and campaigns.
According to Michael Glynn, chief executive of Luther Pendragon: “Since our MBO in 2005 we’ve enjoyed four very successful years. We believe that in and Quintus we have found an outstanding partner that is able to deepen our existing public affairs offer. At a time when there will be significant political change in the U.K. and Europe, Luther Pendragon is able to offer clients an exceptional level of knowledge and experience, boosted by the acquisition of Quintus.”
Chris Guyver, Chief Executive of Quintus Communications adds: “Joining Luther Pendragon allows us to grow and extend our media relations offer within a company that truly recognizes the importance of an integrated approach.”
The acquisition of Quintus is the third major investment by Luther Pendragon this year, following the opening of a Brussels office and the introduction of an offer to the charitable and voluntary sector.
