NEW YORK—M Booth & Associates has hired Chiara Coletti as senior vice president and director of its corporate social responsibility and not-for-profit practice.

For the past seven years, Coletti served as vice president of communications and public affairs for the College Board, an association of schools, colleges and educational foundations where she was instrumental in expanding the Board’s advanced placement program into rural and inner city schools; launching the new SAT; and developing the National Commission on Writing.

Previously, Coletti led the division of communications for New York City Public Schools, under Chancellor Rudolph Crew, where she designed the communications strategy for the reform of the School Governance Law and the launch of the Chancellor’s District for school improvement. She also spent 10 years at Newsday and New York Newsday, where she was vice president of community relations and public affairs and special assistant to the publisher.
