NEW YORK—M Booth & Associates has been selected by Somerset Medical Center to launch its new Sleep for Life Center in Hillsborough, NJ. With 20 beds, Sleep for Life will be one of the nation’s largest, most technologically advanced and comprehensive sleep centers. The Booth account team, led by Dennis Tartaglia, senior vice president, healthcare, will manage a national and regional consumer and trade media relations program to raise public and physician awareness of the center and its capabilities. “We selected M Booth & Associates because it has outstanding healthcare media expertise and contacts, an ability to translate science into consumer-friendly news, and experience working successfully with a range of healthcare providers on projects like ours,” says Victoria Allen, assistant vice president of public relations and marketing, Somerset Medical Center. “It has the right blend of strategic insight and tactical savvy to put our Sleep for Life Center on the map.” According to a recent Institute of Medicine report, as many as 70 million Americans may be affected by chronic sleep disorders.
