Blackwell comes to M: Communications from The PBN Company, where he worked for more than seven years, including for the last four years as managing director of PBN’s Moscow office. Among other responsibilities, Blackwell led the development of the firm’s financial communications business in Russia.

M: Communications, which is based in London and is part of the King Worldwide group of companies (which includes DF King in the U.S. and Hallvarsson & Halvarsson in Sweden), has worked with several clients in the former Soviet Union, including Basic Element, ENRC, Polymetal, Rolf, Rusal, Sibir Energy and Volga Resources.

“This additional on-the-ground capacity in Moscow and coverage of the Russia-based media and financial community will add a critical new dimension to the firm’s Russian offering,” says agency princpal Nick Miles.
