WASHINGTON, D.C.—David MacKay, most recently leader of the Chicago and Washington, D.C., consumer marketing practices of Hill & Knowlton, has joined Fleishman- Hillard to lead its integrated marketing solutions offer.

“At a time when profound changes are taking place in the marketing environment and how we communicate to consumers in relevant ways, David’s strong strategic marketing credentials in the consumer sector add tremendous value to our client partnerships as we continue to expand our integrated offering and infuse an holistic approach to everything that we do,” says Martha Boudreau, general manager of FH in Washington.

Earlier in his career, MacKay was vice president and group leader for the consumer marketing practice at Ketchum. He began his career in marketing communications at Burson-Marsteller.

Fleishman is also expanding its integrated marketing solutions under MacKay’s direction, to harness the firm’s expertise in traditional and nontraditional communications, bringing together consumer insights, market research, brand development, interactive, word of mouth, direct marketing, online marketing, social impact marketing, multicultural communications, publicity and promotions to more effectively put clients in touch with today’s consumer.
