Macrovision Taps LaunchSquad

Macrovision Corporation has selected LaunchSquad to create and implement a public relations program designed to raise visibility and educate the market regarding its software licensing solutions.

SAN FRANCISCO—Macrovision Corporation has selected LaunchSquad to create and implement a public relations program designed to raise visibility and educate the market regarding its software licensing solutions. Macrovision is a leading provider of digital rights management technologies for the video, music and software industries.

LaunchSquad’s efforts will focus primarily on Macrovision’s software technologies group, which markets FLEXnet, a universal licensing platform that enables customers to price, package and protect their software. Macrovision is also the host of the annual SoftSummit conference.

“Although we are a well-established company, we have several unique technologies in our portfolio that together create a major growth opportunity for Macrovision, and we’ve decided that now is the time to ramp up our PR efforts to make the company a household name in the software industry,” said Daniel Greenberg, Macrovision’s vice president of worldwide marketing. “We chose LaunchSquad for its enthusiasm, talent, creativity and proven track record in working with growth companies.”
