MADRID, April 16—Ketchum has formally changed the name of its Madrid office to Ketchum SEIS. Previously, the agency had operated under SEIS (Spanish Executive Information Service), its original name.

According to Jerry Olszewski, Ketchum’s senior partner for international operations, the name change marks a milestone in the agency’s further integration into Ketchum’s global network. “The Madrid team has played an essential role in our global success story, ever since they joined the Ketchum network,” said Olszewski.

“Over the last nine years we have succeeded in combining our expertise as a local Spanish agency with the strength of a global PR firm,” said Tony Noel, Ketchum SEIS chairman and co-founder. “Now is the time to take it one step further and include Ketchum in our name, so Spanish multinationals know that we can service their requirements world-wide”

The Madrid team has been part of the global network since becoming a Ketchum affiliate in 1993. Two years ago, in April 2000, Ketchum became the majority-owner of the firm.
