Magnet Hires Moreno as VP for Latino Practice

Euro RSCG Magnet has hired José Moreno as vice president of its Latino practice. Moreno will manage a team of bicoastal professionals serving clients such as Banco Popular, Splenda, Marshalls, Johnson & Johnson and Lactaid milk.

NEW YORK—Euro RSCG Magnet has hired José Moreno as vice president of its Latino practice. Moreno will manage a team of bicoastal professionals serving clients such as Banco Popular, Splenda, Marshalls, Johnson & Johnson and Lactaid milk.

In addition, the practice has added Anna Garcia as a senior account executive and promoted Sandra Bernardo and Marcie Perez to associate vice president.

Magnet’s Latino practice, which was launched in 2000, has professional personnel in southern California, New York and Chicago as well as affiliate relationships in Miami and Texas. Moreno will lead new business development strategies and work with New York management to expand the firm’s multicultural offerings.

Most recently, he was with Lopez Negrete Communications in Houston, and has previous PR agency experience with San Diego firms including GCS Public Relations, The Gable Group and Stoorza, Ziegus & Metzger.
