NEW YORK—Havas-owned Magnet Communications, the 24th largest PR firm, in the U.S., has signed an affiliate agreement with Baltimore-based Warschawski Public Relations. Warschawski was named “Boutique Agency of the Year” and the “Best Boutique Agency to Work For” by The Holmes Report earlier this year.
The affiliation provides Magnet with a fast-growing, highly respected presence in the Baltimore and Washington markets. Warschawski will enjoy full access to Magnet’s national network and the Havas global network—providing media expertise around the world—as well as the in-depth knowledge of Magnet’s industry-based practices.
The announcement is the latest in a series of moves by Magnet to strengthen its national network. In May, the agency acquired Hauser Bragg Communications to augment its Chicago presence, and in March the firm entered into an agreement to manage Arnold PR—another Havas agency—in Boston.
