NEW YORKFollowing a competitive review, Manning Selvage & Lee’s consumer marketing practice has been selected by Clinique, a leading global prestige cosmetics brand, as a public relations partner. The firm’s New York office will lead the account.

MS&L has already started working with Clinique on a digital public relations campaign targeting college students, as well as conducting local and regional media relations outreach, for several new product and retail initiatives including the global re-design of Clinique counters and the Clinique experience. The agency also helped to promote Clinique’s association with reality television star Whitney Port, as the new ambassador for Happy Day, a retail and community event in December, and Happy Fragrance.

According to Stacy Mackler, vice president of global public relations for Clinique, MS&L’s “know-how in the marketplace and ability to reach our consumer in meaningful ways at multiple touch points, especially with strong influencer and digital media programs, will ensure our success reaching multiple audiences.” MS&L has marketing expertise in the beauty category for clients such as Procter & Gamble, Captique, Keri Lotion, Revaleskin, Sculptra and Bionova.
