Manning Strengthens Consumer Leadership, Promotes Wilson

Manning Selvage & Lee has expanded the leadership of its consumer marketing practice by promoting Renée Wilson to senior vice president and director of strategic services and innovation and naming Kim Friedman and Caryn Carmer co-directors of the practice.

NEW YORK—Manning Selvage & Lee has expanded the leadership of its consumer marketing practice by promoting Renée Wilson to senior vice president and director of strategic services and innovation and naming Kim Friedman and Caryn Carmer co-directors of the practice.

Wilson, who was named head of MS&L New York’s consumer marketing practice in July 2005, has more than 16 years of experience in influencer marketing, marketing to women and launching new products.  In her new role, she will be responsible for strategic planning, business development, innovation and launching new products and services.  She will also continue to serve on the New York office’s executive team and in her role as a senior counselor to Procter & Gamble.

In their new roles, Friedman and Carmer will manage the office’s consumer marketing team, lead new business and offer strategic counsel for the group’s clients. They will also join the office’s executive team. Friedman was most recently a director in MS&L’s London office, where she served on the consumer group management team. Carmer joined MS&L as senior vice president in 2005 and leads public relations programs for several Procter & Gamble brands.
