CHICAGO—GolinHarris has appointed Lynn Martenstein as managing director of its Miami office. Martenstein replaces Lisa Mozloom, a 13-year veteran of GolinHarris who held the position of managing director for the past four years. Mozloom is leaving GolinHarris to spend more time with her family.
Martenstein will report to President and CEO Fred Cook. In addition to continuing to grow the office’s business in consumer, healthcare, CSR and Hispanic communications, she also will play a key role in advancing the agency’s travel and tourism capability.
Prior to joining GolinHarris, Martenstein spent 12 years as vice president of corporate communications for Royal Caribbean Cruises, where she was responsible for global media relations, crisis communications and employee communications. She also spearheaded the company’s community outreach programs, including The Ocean Fund, a $10-million, marine-conservation effort and the Galápagos Fund, a conservation project in the Galápagos Islands.
Earlier in her career, Martenstein was vice president of corporate communications for United Airlines; vice president of communications for the American Forest & Paper Association; and director of external communications for the national American Red Cross.
