Martin Joins D.C. Public Affairs Practice at Ketchum

Josie Martin has joined Ketchum as senior vice president in the public affairs practice and director of business development in the Washington, D.C., office.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Josie Martin has joined Ketchum as senior vice president in the public affairs practice and director of business development in the Washington, D.C., office. Martin will focus on developing new business for the Washington-based public affairs practice and across all of office’s practice groups. She also will provide senior counsel to Ketchum clients across industries and practice groups.

 

Martin joins the agency from GolinHarris, where she led that firm’s public affairs practice and was instrumental in developing a portfolio of clients in industries ranging from healthcare to telecommunications to trade policy.

 

Previously, Martin was senior vice president of the Federation of American Hospitals. She also has held senior communications positions at the American Red Cross, the Health Insurance Association of America, and the National Cable Television Association. She began her career on Capitol Hill, where she worked for Sen. Bob Packwood (R-OR) and Sen. John Chafee (R-RI).
