Martinez Joins MPAA Communications Team

The Motion Picture Association of America has appointed Angela Belden Martinez to its public affairs team as vice president of corporate communications. She will be responsible for day-to-day corporate communications operations.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Motion Picture Association of America has appointed Angela Belden Martinez to its public affairs team as vice president of corporate communications. She will be responsible for day-to-day corporate communications operations in the MPAA’s Washington, D.C. office, reporting directly to Seth Oster, MPAA executive vice president and chief communications officer.

In addition to day-to-day media relations activities, Martinez will also focus on public affairs duties relating to MPAA’s D.C.-based legislative, education and other advocacy efforts.

Prior to joining MPAA, Martinez served with leading public relations firms in Washington, as Midwest regional political director and press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and in various roles in government and politics in her home state of Indiana.
