NEWBURYPORT, MA—Consumer and technology public relations specialist Matter Communications has formed a new group, Precision, that will provide focused public relations efforts such as a specialized business media programs for clients with limited budgets.

According to Matter CEO Scott Signore: “For years, we have heard from prospects and clients that they have a project, a specific need, or just a smaller overall PR budget, and they’re frustrated because they can’t find the right agency to partner with. In our early years, these clients and prospects were our engine for growth.

“As we’ve grown, though, and as our agency continues to take on larger-scope client work, we felt it was still important to have an in-house solution for companies who have tightly-defined PR needs.”

Precision clients will be serviced by a dedicated account group, headed by vice president and managing director Jesse Ciccone, with day-to-day strategy and execution of the group’s client work led by the newly hired Precision account leader Jennifer Karin, formerly with Citigate Cunningham, Mullen Advertising, and Miller Communications (now Weber Shandwick).
