NEW YORK—The Anne McBride Company, a global investor relations firm, has entered into a strategic partnership with Karakas, a Turkish investor relations and corporate communications consultancy. The new venture, called Karakas-McBride, will specialize in bringing Turkish companies to the U.S. and European capital markets.

According to agency founder Anne McBride, recent positive developments in the Turkish capital market have created opportunities for global investor relations are expected to increase significantly. Karakas-McBride will offer seamless IR capabilities to companies in the emerging Turkish market and will benefit both corporations seeking an international listing through the GDR/ADR route and companies with existing investors in U.S. and European markets.

Says Gonca Karakas, president of Karakas, “With Turkey preparing to enter the EU and the country’s new found economic success, the timing is ideal for a U.S. joint venture.”
