PORTLAND, June 19—McClenahan Bruer Communications, a technology advertising and public relations firm, has opened a branch office in San Francisco and named Jennifer Bader general manager.

“This is our first office outside Portland, although for years most of our clients have been in the Bay Area,” said Rich Bruer, agency principal. “Having an office in the midst of the nation’s largest high-tech region—with local access to high-tech media and a host of outstanding PR and advertising professionals—will allow us to provide even better service to current and future clients.”
Bader has been a senior communications counsel for McBru since 1999 and has managed the Virage Logic and McDATA accounts. Prior to joining McBru, Bader was a channel marketing manager for the color printer division at Tektronix.Earlier in her career, Bader worked on the agency side at Hastings Humble Giardini.
