McGlone Joins Dallas Firm to Expand Tech Practice

Michael A. Burns & Associates has named Neil McGlone, a 20-year veteran of technology public relations, to head up its newly formed technology practice group.

DALLAS, August 22—Michael A. Burns & Associates has named Neil McGlone, a 20-year veteran of technology public relations, to head up its newly formed technology practice group. McGlone and his practice group will focus on delivering strategic direction and tactical excellence to a growing list of technology clients.
 
McGlone, who joined MB&A from Cummings McGlone & Associates, was previously director of communications and public affairs for the Americas region of Motorola’s semiconductor products sector. He was also director of worldwide corporate media relations for Texas Instruments, and co-chair of the company’s communications leadership team.
 
“Despite a prolonged downturn, we take an optimistic long-term view of the telecom and technology markets,” said MB&A president and CEO Michael Burns. “The time is right to focus senior resources on ensuring that we are prepared to help our current clients and new clients move their businesses forward.”
