McGrath Power to Lead PR Effort for Swiss Software Company

Silicon Valley technology specialist McGrath/Power has been selected to lead a four-country public relations campaign for Obtree Technologies, a Swiss software company.

SANTA CLARA, March 29—Silicon Valley technology specialist McGrath/Power has been selected to lead a four-country public relations campaign for Obtree Technologies, a Swiss software company. McGrath/Power will work with sister agencies from the Worldcom Group—a network of independent PR firms—to help the emerging content management software company establish itself.
 
The European portion of the campaign will be led by Worldcom partners Kaizo in the United Kingdom, HBI in Germany, and L&W Marcom in Switzerland. The firms will provide strategic counsel, media relations, analyst relations, strategic positioning and messaging and speaking venues.
 
“Our decision to partner with the Worldcom Public Relations Group was based on the strength of the consortium and the strength of the individual agencies in each territory,” says Obtree’s chief marketing officer Jens Rabe. “We like the idea of a responsive partnership with agencies that have the resources and experience to keep up with the pace of our market.”
