NEW YORK—Ketchum has named Hilary Hanson McKean, a former senior vice president and director of strategy at Ketchum South, as director for the region, which comprises the firm’s Atlanta and Dallas offices. She succeeds Rhonda Harper, who will leave the agency at the end of the month to focus on other areas of interest.
In a related personnel announcement, Robyn Freedman is rejoining Ketchum South as senior vice president, director of creativity and strategic planning. She is a former creative director for the region.
McKean and Freedman rejoin Ketchum from Element Six, a strategic-consulting and creative-ideation boutique they co-founded in 2004 to deliver fresh insights and help Fortune 500 brands develop breakthrough ideas that work. Their clients have included Newell Rubbermaid, Staples, Cox Communications, Kids II and Sony Wonder, among others.
