NASHVILLE—Partnership 2010, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce’s economic development arm, has selected McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations as its new agency of record. MP&F will provide communications and marketing support to Partnership 2010 for the next four years as the Partnership recruits new businesses to Nashville, supports existing businesses, promotes a spirit of entrepreneurship and works to improve the area’s quality of life.

The agency’s work on behalf of Partnership 2010 began with the Nashville Chamber’s new fiscal year on July 1.

“We’re excited to begin this relationship with McNeely Pigott & Fox, a company that has been an active investor in the Partnership for many years and one we feel has its finger on the pulse of this community,” says the Chamber’s senior vice president for economic development Janet Miller. “MP&F’s skills in media relations, event planning, message development, marketing and creative design will be invaluable as we work to build on what is already a successful communications effort.”

MP&F was one of nine local agencies that submitted written proposals. Dye, Van Mol & Lawrence has managed the account since 1998.

The firm has played key roles in many of Nashville’s recent major economic development projects, including the construction and grand openings of the Coliseum, Gaylord Entertainment Center, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, downtown library, and District Energy System facility, and handled relocation activities for Dell Computer and Verizon Wireless.
