NEW YORK—Less than a month after acquiring a majority stake in New York corporate and financial communications specialist Sloane& Company, MDC Partners has acquired a majority interest in Allison & Partners. Headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Seattle, Phoenix, Atlanta and San Diego, the firm has expertise in consumer marketing, corporate communications, social impact, technology, public affairs and healthcare.

Founded in 2001 and now ranked among the nation’s top 10 independents, Allison & Partners was selected as Midsize Agency of the Year by The Holmes Report earlier this year. It works with clients including Best Western International, Aramark, Hard Rock Hotels Las Vegas, Progressive Insurance, Samsung, Hasbro, Healthways, Boost Mobile and Sony.

According to chief executive Scott Allison: "This strategic partnership is an exciting next step in our development, allowing us to maintain our management independence while providing additional resources and expertise to help us grow at an accelerated rate. In MDC Partners, the chemistry was right from day one, where we found kindred spirits who share our vision of the PR and public affairs agency of the future."
