Mead Leaves Gavin Anderson to Become Brunswick Partner

Robert Mead, most recently head of the New York office of Gavin Anderson & Company has joined international corporate and financial communications consultancy Brunswick Group as a partner.

NEW YORK—Robert Mead, most recently head of the New York office of Gavin Anderson & Company has joined international corporate and financial communications consultancy Brunswick Group as a partner. Mead will be based in New York and will also spend considerable time in the firm’s Washington D.C. office. He will focus on critical communications assignments involving corporate reputation, crisis and issues management, restructurings and bankruptcies,, mergers & acquisitions and litigation situations.

Mead has worked at Gavin Anderson for the past seven years, most recently serving as president and deputy CEO, and leader of the firm’s U.S. operations.

Prior to joining Gavin Anderson, Mead was president of Sawyer Miller Consulting in New York and a partner at BSMG Worldwide. Earlier he served as director of communications, and director of agency operations, for the Texas General Land Office, which manages state-owned oil and gas properties.
