NEW YORK—Kwittken & Company has been selected by Paul Stuart, the luxury men’s clothier, as its public relations agency of record. KCO was chosen after a lengthy competitive pitch process and has been charged with broadening awareness of the brand beyond its traditional and classic audience.
As part of its campaign, KCO will be supporting Paul Stuart in three key initiatives: launching the company’s Phineas Cole sub-brand, an entirely new clothing collection geared toward younger—but “sartorially mature”—men; unveiling a completely re-vamped women’s collection; and celebrating the brand’s 70th anniversary.
Tactics will include national and trade media relations and product placement with the fashion, retail and business press, event and sponsorship management, along with non-traditional media outreach such as blogging and social media communications.
“We selected Kwittken & Company because it offered a unique and impressive perspective on how to translate our brand to new audiences while still remaining true to our history and heritage and appealing to our core customer,” says Sandy Neiman, spokesman for Paul Stuart.
