NEW YORK—Michael Kaminer Public Relations has officially changed its name to PKPR. Founded in 1992, the boutique agency is dedicated to representing clients who endeavor to create positive change, from innovators in digital culture, film, and entertainment to champions of progressive and gay causes to leaders in health and wellness. Current clients range from The Webby Awards and non-profits such as The Moth and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize.

 

The firm is led by Patrick Kowalczyk, who joined in 1997 and became president of the agency in 2006 after founder Michael Kaminer left the public relations field to pursue a journalism career.
