BLOOMINGTON, April 28—Chris Werle, who recently was responsible for developing consumer marketing efforts at Microsoft Corporation, is rejoining the Twin Cities office of Weber Shandwick as an executive vice president.

Werle will be responsible for leadership of the office’s consumer marketing practice group. He returns to Weber Shandwick after more than two years with Microsoft’s home and retail division and later game studios. While working for the software giant, he created and implemented advertising, public relations, promotions and packaging programs for a variety of products and games.

“Chris’ experience at Microsoft is a great resource for our current and prospective clients looking for help in developing all facets of a communications program,” said Dave Mona, chairman of Weber Shandwick’s Twin Cities office. “Along with this knowledge, Chris also brings back his innovation, creativity and sense of humor.”

Previously, Werle was a vice president in the Twin Cities office and co-manager of the agency’s consumer marketing practice group. Before joining Weber Shandwick the first time, he was communications manager at NordicTrack.
