NEW YORK—Middleton & Gendron has opened a San Diego office that significantly expands its West Coast, reflecting the growth of Middleton & Gendron’s business—focused primarily on luxury travel, consumer goods and related markets—not only in the western United States, but also in Mexico and the Far East.

The San Diego office will be led by Lori Kennedy as vice president. Kennedy was most recently a partner in JLKennedy Communications, a Southern California-based marketing communications firm that she founded eight years ago with her husband, Jim Kennedy. She was also the first regional public relations director for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the brand’s hotels in Hawaii and later in Las Vegas.

She is joined at Middleton & Gendron by account director Shae Page Geary, who has worked with Kennedy for the past three years. The firm also operates a Los Angeles office managed by editorial director Lucy Vlahakis, who has been associated with the agency since 1988.
