LEXINGTON, April 29—Diane Pardes, formerly senior counsel at the Miller Shandwick Technologies unit of Weber Shandwick Worldwide, has launched her own public relations firm. Pardes Communications will provide “a personalized, value-oriented approach to marketing communications.”

The launch of the new firm comes a week after another former Miller Shandwick executive, Tony Sapienza, opened his own firm, Topaz Partners.

Pardes Communications offers media relations, strategic planning, corporate training and editorial services along with creative communications techniques to address clients’ key business objectives.

“In today’s economy, companies are looking for an alternative to the large agency model,” said Pardes. “Pardes Communications provides value by offering large agency experience without the overhead.  Clients also benefit by receiving more personalized attention from senior-level professionals who conduct the day-to-day work on the account.”

Pardes Communications also announced that client engagements include: working with the Bostonian Society on event publicity, collaborating with Dawn Matthews Public Relations on the launch of Two Toms BlisterShield Miracle Foot Powder, and conducting media relations and editorial services for a leading technology company.

The firm will integrate strategic planning—which is tightly aligned to an organization’s business goals—with creative communications solutions to maximize opportunities for coverage and exposure.
