CLEVELAND—Dix & Eaton has named Debbie Mitchell, a senior managing director of the firm and a member of its board of directors, to head its investor relations practice. Mitchell, a former chair of the National Investor Relations Institute, created and led IR and communication programs at Limited Brands, Intimate Brands, and Wendy’s International.

Mitchell has IR experience in fostering strong relationships with investors and sell-side analysts; the analysis of investor perception, stock performance and valuation , investor and analyst targeting, investment community/broker meetings, presentations, annual reports, websites, corporate governance, issues management, acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offerings and post-IPO identity building, turnaround situations, and programs for developing earned media programs.
As vice president, communications and investor relations for Intimate Brands—parent of the Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret brands—she created the communications and IR organization and developed an integrated communications program that leveraged the activities and prospects of the corporation and its brands and encompassed creative outreach programs to both print and electronic media.
