NEW DELHI — Mondelez India has shifted its Indian communications remit to MSLGroup following a competitive review.

The company, which previously worked with Perfect Relations in India, has tasked MSLGroup with enhancing its brand salience in the country, via an assignment that includes strategic communications, brand engagement, corporate reputation and citizenship.

In addition, MSLGroup will monitor and manage digital engagement for Mondelez India.

"Mondelez India is up for some exciting times ahead given our fantastic brands, our leadership and play in key categories and our deep focus on India," said Ophira Bhatia, director of India corporate affairs and chocolates Asia-Pacific at Mondelez. "We look forward to working with MSL Group as a strategic and creative partner."

The owner of chocolate brand Cadbury, which has a 60% market share in India's growing chocolate market, Mondelez is eyeing further Indian growth from its rural markets.
